All three Rajasthan DISCOMs (JVVNL, AVVNL, JdVVNL) allow residential net metering up to 10 kW per connection. PM Solar (NGO) provides free guidance on the application + JE inspection coordination + commissioning report submission. Physical installation by an MNRE-empanelled vendor.

Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) Net Metering Regulations 2024 govern all three state DISCOMs:

  • JVVNL (Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam) — Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Alwar
  • AVVNL (Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam) — Ajmer, Nagaur, Bhilwara
  • JdVVNL (Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam) — Jodhpur, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh
