Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian citizen
  • Residential property with valid electricity connection
  • Rooftop suitable for solar panels
  • Household has not availed solar subsidy before

Application Process

  1. 1Register at pmsuryaghar.gov.in
  2. 2Upload electricity bill and Aadhaar
  3. 3Get technical approval from DISCOM
  4. 4Install through MNRE-empanelled vendor
  5. 5After net-meter inspection, subsidy credited to bank account
