What is it?

The Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC) provides an additional ₹17,000 state top-up subsidy for residential rooftop solar systems of 1 kW and above. This stacks on top of the central PM Surya Ghar subsidy (₹30,000 / ₹60,000 / ₹78,000).

Who is eligible?

  • Permanent Rajasthan resident (Aadhaar address must be RJ)
  • Residential JVVNL / AVVNL / JdVVNL connection (not commercial)
  • System sized 1 kW – 10 kW
  • One claim per consumer / property
  • New installations only — retroactive claims not allowed

How to apply

  1. Apply for PM Surya Ghar central subsidy first at pmsuryaghar.gov.in
  2. After commissioning, separately apply on rrecl.com with your PM Surya Ghar commissioning certificate
  3. RREC verifies installation via JVVNL records (no second site visit)
  4. ₹17,000 credited to your bank in 30-45 days
